Unique Solutions LLC and manufacturer of Ahh-some products was founded in 1995 by Jerry Parker, a pool builder and hot tub retailer. Jerry met an accomplished retired chemist who had spent years experimenting with pool and hot tub products designed to clear cloudy water. After testing the formula with thousands of pool owners, the results were remarkable. They struck a deal and marketed a gel that purges and removes contaminant build-up, including oils, lotions, dead skin and grime, from closed-loop plumbing systems.
The company grew from a one-person operation to 24 full-time employees, most of whom had extensive experience in the pool and hot tub industry. Their deep knowledge of recreational water and customer needs helped the company provide reliable guidance and high-quality products.
Jerry sold Unique Solutions to his son Jim in 2022. It was acquired by King Technology in 2025. “Ahh-some and Hot Tub Serum brand products are the perfect complement to King’s vision of enriching the lives of consumers with simple solutions that allow them to relax and enjoy,” said Mike Noer, President and Chief Executive Officer at King Technology. “Together, we’re building a complete system of simple, effective water care for hot tub owners and providing increased value for our pro dealer and hot tub manufacturer partners.”
